I think it needs a slight dialing in to make the path slightly easier. It is a tightrope to make it right now. Selling some of our best players each summer to suit a formula is quite depressing, but obviously necessary.

Hong Kong had the 3rd best average of any team in the last round and I've never heard of either player.

There’s also a case of ‘be careful what you wish for’. Too much relaxation of the rules could lead to more advantages for state-owned clubs, while moving the dial the other way could erode the advantages that suit us. Personally I would like to enginee...
