earnest scabb, an apology

In the last issue, it was stated that Mr. Ernest Scabb was a resident of Moss Side and, as such, was the only Manchester United supporter living in Manchester.

We now accept that such allegations were entirely without foundation and that Mr Scabb has, in fact, spent all of his life in Camden Town, north London. The mistake arose because Mr Scabb lists his address as Moss Side due to the Council tax being cheaper there.

We are happy to set the record straight and apologise unreservedly to Mr Scabb for any embarrassment the article in question may have caused to him and his family.
