I have just bought two tickets for the game for €150 per ticket.  I know that I have to keep one ticket for myself but my son can occupy the other seat but its asking for a file number.  I've tried his UEFA registration number with no joy. 

I know from reading other accounts on here that the have already passed on tickets so if anyone can advise me where to find the "file number" please give me a shout.

If you bought from UEFA then the file number should be visible if you go into your account on the UEFA ticket portal website. https://supercup.tickets.uefa.com/account

Alternatively look at the email confirmation from UEFA that you got when you bought the tickets. The number in the subject of the email is the same as the file number.

Thanks guy's.  In the end we didnt seem to need and the ticket is safely on his phone so we are good to go.

May have left it a touch late to book a hotel 😔

Any top tips at all?  Everything in Salzburg seems crazy expensive but don’t mind a train / cab trip after the game.

Stay in Munich and catch a train to Salzburg. On the night of the match there are no late trains back but obviously you will be celebrating in town so catch the early morning 5am train back to Munich.

Theres a flixbus back to Munich at 1215 that we have tickets for, might be a bit tight but its an option

My ticket has been add to the Uefa app this morning, sans the QR code.

Phew - mine too. Although i have badgered the club almost every day.

Damn this modern technology. Still waiting on some QR code??? Be just my luck i get there and the fecker does not work

Would much rather have queued in the pissing down of rain and collected a hard copy paper ticket
