The Newcastle equivalent of the bloke that wanted Martinez sold at Half Time.

An almost perfect performance. To me the players understood the referee was doing everything possible to make sure those barcode thugs left with a result so they made sure that wasn't going to happen by absolutely steamrolling them.

MOTM was Tielemans because to not concede a single foul in 96 minutes against their big midfield players is very rare.

We are bang in-form which is incredible.

Jason Tindall - looks like a bottle blond fake tanned low life who's wandered in from one of E4's cheapskate non-celebtity reality programmes.

Looking forward to Bronte’s ratings tonight. My favourite part of the week.

Complete annihilation really. Thought Mings, Maatsen, Tielemans and Watkins were outstanding. Best performance of the season. Emery 10.

There's also be something to be said for JJ too. He was involved in the goals that turned it from a win into a hammering.

Watkins just said he was fuming only playing 20 minutes against PSG.

He'll hopefully get over it. He put in a display today, especially first half that he's been missing this season. His 15 minute cameo against Southampton was a clear indication he was finally looking fresh and today goes to confirm how much he needed a rest. He was back to last season Watkins and up against two tough central defenders, he ran them ragged.

All that said, McGinn gets my MOTM. Leads by example and nobody is allowed not to put in a full shift with him as captain. We are blessed. Proud of every single one of them. I've been waiting all season for a performance like that and what a time to deliver it.

Truly, onwards and upwards.

Also amusing reading some comments on the BBC's "Speak you're branes" during their Saturday live coverage. Someone wrote in saying something like "all the teams pushing for Europe seem to be stumbling, only Newcastle seem like they want it". Hmm, I believe I can think of one more...

Geordie Shore? Probably failed an audition as an extra but hung-around Quayside long enough for Uncle Eddie to get him to put the cones out in training.

We were absolutely magnificent. Against a really good team in excellent form we absolutely demolished them.

We've had some brilliant performances under Emery, but for me this was the best so far
