The battered us and behaved appallingly at their place. We massively owe them.

They made Jhon mad and made his mind up about going to Saudi, where the Geordies are powered from. Fabian Schär, you're a big-boned bastard!

Massive, massive game. Not just for the 3 points but setting the tone for the run-in.

I swear last time I checked we'd won 9 in 10.

Newcastle have won six in a row. So I don't think you can really say either team's form makes them favourites. We tend to be good at home but are also often shit against Newcastle. I think Newcastle would be happier than us with the draw, not sure if that helps us or not.

The way we played second half against PSG tells me we should fear no one in the premier league.
We have a better squad than Newcastle and although they are on fire, so are we.

Just think we will be struggling after the PSG set back. I hope I'm wrong but I've seen villa for too many decades now to not be sceptical.

Me too, but that second half performance was something special and I truly believe we should fear no one.

They are very good at what they do.
We are very good at what we do.
Most of the clued up PL teams have worked out that if they allow our midfield players to turn and run, they will be in trouble. So they just do the technical foul.
We must not be bullied, and repay all such activities in kind, and with interest.

Our wide players, full backs, wing backs are whatever the fuck they are called these days will need to be on top form.
We will win.
