I'm really hoping the Internet connection works better tonight than it did for the forest game, I don't think my heart could take repeated buffering of the video

I know it sounds daft but I was more nervous about the Preston game. Probably because we were expected to win and I would choose winning the FA Cup over the CL. And because there are two legs. Get a decent result tonight and then I will be shitting myself next week.

Hopefully tonight is the time we make people sit up & look at us. I don't want the FA Cup over the Champions League, I want them both.

With Emery in charge, anything is possible.

We were out in a bar last night much closer to the PSG end of town, and saw no issues and in fact felt welcome. All very relaxed. A few Villa in there, a little sing at the end. Nothing but smiles.

I guess all the idiots will be at or around the game tonight so should be fine again.

Watching this footage, there's definitely an option to just stay inside and not get involved anyway!

And top 5 in the league.

Quite funny really as we were drinking in a bar opposite somewhere with big screens on thinking that might be decent to go in to watch the Arsenal game. Seems to be a few lads in there already. This must be about 8ish, we leave to go back to the apartment to change and walk past O'Sullivans (the bar that was attacked) and there's riot police outside keeping a Free Palestinie march moving. About an hour later there's all broken glass on the floor as we move back down the road. Turns out the bar with the big screens actually contained a PSG firm so probably quite fortunate we'd not gone in there.

Genuinely not sure how this will go, could be any result. Hopefully we keep it tight and take them back to Villa Park on even terms, better yet a a goal to the good!

Martinez

Digne
Torres
Konsa
Disasi

Ramsey
Tielemans
Kamara
McGinn

Rogers
Watkins

With the likes of Asensio and Rashford to come after the hour to have a go at them.

UTV

Think that looks about right, perhaps Konsa and Disasi swap and for me it’s a toss up between Ollie and Rashford. Do you go for Ollie’s work rate to press the defenders or the more clinical Rashford from the start.
I think he’ll probably start Rashford but think I’d bring him on once Ollie has tired them out.

I'd play Onana instead of Jacob to start with and Rashford up top

Almost certainly PSG attacking a pub Villa are in.

That seems the most likely scenario. PSG "Ultras" being chased away by a few old, fat blokes trying to have a quiet pint.

Now this is embarrassing. https://x.com/bluenose199011/status/1909702228966879256
At least they were attacking adult Villa supporters, not your local families have a family meal at McDonald's

That is pretty close , but I have no idea who 2 out of the back 4 will be, Konsa and Digne start.

That looks too obvious to me, have a feeling he'll have something up his sleeve for tonight.
