The plan was clearly get to half time in control of the tie. Can see nothing more exciting than 1:0. Quarter final 2nd leg will be a different animal

I will be stunned (and utterly delighted) if we're moaning about a boring 0-0 that will see us through in the next round (if we get there, obviously!)

Playing for the draw against 10 men - its a yawnfest.

Watkins and Rogers need to be subbed. Bailey and Asensio on please.

Very flat performance so far, and atmosphere. Occasion getting to everyone.

I’m here. I think we’re just bored.

Rodgers looks knackered

I was thinking the same about Rogers.
Looks knackered because he's playing wide right. Should be behind Watkins witj

Not a wide right player, should be in the middle with McGinn out right. Then Rogers can get on the ball more and start his dtrbbling with the ball.

Brugge have to find a way to score twice, we don't have to do anything.
We would have to kick off for them to score twice.

Brugges will have to go for it second half . The game should start to open up soon as they get desperate. Might be the subs who win this again.
Think they are fairly open as it is,we just seem to be jogging around

Getting into the Quarter Final of the Champions League is a boring experience. Tell that to 2018 me.

Rodgers looks knackered

Been really poor yet again on the right. Watkins likely will limp off at the break too. So changes are imminent there

We all would have taken 0-0 at the break beforehand. Red card means it would take an epic collapse not to go through. But we look very flat I think. Back four and Kamara have been fine but everyone else struggling, Rogers and Watkins particularly. Only Emery could have come up with that starting lineup but McGinn should be on right and Rogers inside.

Ideal game for Asensio to come in I think. Just to get his foot on the ball. Will be plenty of space to exploit in second half

Great run by Rashford for the red card incident and punt by Martinez. I've been very impressed with Brugge again, no sulking after the red card either.

Former bluenose Upson on the BBC feed being a miserable get, as you’d expect.
