Yep, Torres is a very passive defender, he's stays on his feet and shepherds players where he wants them to be and doesn't commit to interceptions, blocks, etc unless he's certain he'll win them. Bade is much more aggressive from what I can see.

There’s an interview (possibly on the transfer thread) where he said Cooper preferred experience.  Furthermore they changed tactics to 4 at the back so one less CB was needed.
