A great cross and a great header trumps any other kind of goal for me.

That goal Andy Gray scored against Man Utd at the Holte End, the defender and keeper are just props.
Most keepers were in the net with the ball when Andy charged in.

The Tarquins and Cressidas are comedy gold and hopefully we've shafted them for the second year running. Its good to add a dose of tragedy to the Hertfordshire commute to Islington, private school fees, the running of 2 Range Rovers and their villa in the Algarve.

I was just about seconds to give up and move onto another pub because I can't stand Villa losing so I wouldn't have to watch it

I was disappointed we scraped a draw, it was probably the weakest Arse team they have fielded this season. Too many players were poor Maatsen crap and Onana obviously not able to cope physically.
We should have gone 1 up but Watkins again fluffed his lines, redeeming himself with the equaliser but if we had taken the lead I think we win the game. Cash similar lets Trossard cross easily for their goal then sublime cross to Watkins.
We are still unable to beat the top teams. Tielemans superb second half.

You do realised they haven’t lost at home since they last played us don’t you? That was a very good result, they are still an excellent team with an exceptionally good midfield.

Not sure at all about their midfield. Rice isn't a 6, runs faster going forward than backward. Doesnt have tactical discipline. Merino can't run as seen for our first goal. They had a very inexperienced defence on show and the handful of times we broke with purpose their midfield was nowhere.

I thought we played a lot better against them at Villa Park in all honesty.
Exactly, they really are not all that without White Saliba Saka Jesus.

We were much better at VP and until we took SJM off looked like we would win.

Sounds like some gang sign. Although not sure why you included Jesus who only scores against Crystal Palace or White who has been out for half a season again as players who they missed and made them poorer. Just seems to denigrate a good result. Almost as bad as when people were stating how well Spurs were doing last season with their injuries, totally missing out we had Mings and Kamara out.

There 2 best players are Saka and Saliba, you think they were better than the team we beat last year?

Do you think our team was as good this year as last year? We were missing the two central defenders who kept the clean sheet, and SJM for example  (we were also missing Diaby and Zaniolo but I will concentrate on players still in our current squad).

Nobody's saying we're playing as well as last season but it's a bit much to.complain about a draw away to a team second in the league.

Coming back from two down.
2-0 down away at Arsenal, who are second in the league and unbeaten at home for a long time and your moaning. I’m pretty sure I’ve hear Martinez, Rogers, Ollie in recent weeks express to the press we haven’t been at our best this season, it’s plainly obvious. However to be upset about yesterday you might as well take a seat next to that attention seeking Gooner kid in the crowd.

Rode our luck a bit there last season they had loads of chances first half but were either missed or fine saves , not so this time . On another day Martinez may have kept both of them out .

At some point we need to be getting the results we were getting last season if we want CL football, yesterday we had an opportunity to do so.

I continue to be concerned that the summer transfer window improved the squad but not the first X1 and last night shows that.

Until we comply with FFP we’re going it really struggle to keep purchasing players of Champions League status. We seem to have reached this position and suddenly our hands are tied.
