They really do dislike us and I find that just wonderful.

Always said we'll know when we're properly back when twats like this mob stop patting us on the head and hate us because we spoil their fun.

I think we can all agree that using female genitalia, not just the asterisks vulgarity but an actual properly named anatomical part, as an insult, is deeply classy and reconstructed

I thought it would be entertaining to dip into the Gooners forum. It's quite an experience. The level of insults towards our club and our city was vile. First off the matchday thread was titled Villa Vulvas. The rest was a pretty unhinged take on today's match and a random sprinkling of casual racism and and personal insults to our players and and especially our manager. There doesn't appear to be any moderators or if there is they're extremely lenient. They're so horrible as a fan base I can actually say something I never thought I would. I hope Liverpool win the league. There i've said it now. I'd better go and scrub myself.

Interesting.

I think I'd err on the side of downplaying silly names for the opposition if my club's name literally began with 'Arse'.

Unless they ever play Penistone Church FC (yes I had to look it up) they've lost that little battle before it even begins.

Edit: or perhaps

Any others? Is there a 'Wanktown Wanderers'?
Yes. They play in gold and black and their home ground is called Molineux.
I hope that the villages of Shitterton and Crapstone sport a club side each...

Racking afternoon with some of the London Lions and a great fight back to get a hard earned point.

I was annoyed at our inability to stop crosses coming in for both goals and thought we could be overrun after the second went in. Great effort by the players to stay in the game and big shout out to every one of them for digging in and showing we could be dangerous on the break.

I thought Kamara was again excellent and Mings led the defence well but I’d add a big shout to Bogarde who helped the defensive midfield effort and didn’t look out of place. No mean feat against a team as good as Arsenal.

To spare Arse's embarrassment, I may start a new club.

Welcome, volunteers, to Felch United!

That sad crybaby fan at the end. Sums them up

Disappointed that the cameras chose to focus on him when that's so obviously what he was after, the attention-seeking twat.

That was hilarious. He'll be a meme by Monday morning. Warhol was right about everyone being famous for fifteen minutes.

Mings was immense once again. Tuchel looking on, hopefully he gets his England place back.
Bouba once again motm.

Great point and thoroughly deserved. Well done lads.

Wasn't Mings ball-watching for Havertz's goal?

AFTV. To be enjoyed.

It's not the same without the lady in the boots. :(

Nice to such a roomful of tw*ts being disappointed though.

Imagine the H&V version of this...a crowd of geezers round Demitri's mancave. Risso losing his shit at every misplaced pass. Sexual getting pissed on cheap red wine. PWS on hand with the "Scorchios".

First time in 52 Premier League away games we’ve not lost after going 2-0 down.

Woeful stat. I wonder is any team as bad as that.

I thought between both centre half’s it wasn’t great. One of them should have stopped Havertz getting there but neither did.

A word for the onfield officials , possibly one of the most corrupt performances I've seen for a while particularly second half .
I thought we were pretty poor first half though had a couple of chances , we were yards off the pace and hence conceded . The second goal almost seems to wake us up .

I thought we were pretty poor for the majority of the game. Digne was only one of back five I was happy with. Maatsen blew his big chance, Cash was roasted by a man in top form, wasn't impressed by either centre back if I'm honest. Konsa left Cash far too isolated and too much got past his post. Mings still is nowhere near his best for me, lots of fouling maybe to be expected after so long out. Just half a yard short at times. Martinez shite for both goals.

Kamara was decent again, Bogarde tried very hard next to him and Watkins put a fair old shift in. Got very little from our de facto wide men, Rogers improved a bit on left late on. Rogers at start of second half and Bailey at end completely failed to track their men and really should have been punished. Disappointed in Ramsey really, he jumped out of a tackle with Partey in the second half that I was sure Emery would hook him minutes later as a result. Minding himself too much and was bullied by a midfielder out of position.

Any day you go 2-0 down at Arsenal and draw is a great result but our form worries me. It's like we are doing enough lately in 20-30 min spells to get results but that's not really sustainable. If there's any chance we could get Luiz back this month we should take it. There's something lacking in our team.

Wow..Are you OK? This is an amazing take on a great result. Weirdly, its hard to disagree with many of your points. And yet we just came back from 2 down at Arsenal and all I can feel is joy. And the one thing your post lacks is any joy

We often slag Cash off for his lack of decent crosses so to see him trust his left foot to sling one in for the equaliser was marvellous.

We’re not as free flowing as pre xmas last season. But we’ve had PSR challenges, we’re doing unbelievably well in the champions league, and despite not being brilliant all season, we are right in the mix for the top 4 again...
... Contrasting  emotions through the match. Despite the hyperbole amongst some on the match thread, I thought we were well in the game at half time. Thought we were dead and buried at 0-2, but our resilience to come back and stay strong defensively was impressive. Kamara, Digne both great. Bogarde did really well, as did Ollie. Great result and feels like we’re on the march for second half of season.
Very well summed up; reflecting my thoughts.
