They can still extend it, doesn't necessarily mean for this match though, just when they get around to hearing it. FA website has the below against it still.

Quote
INCIDENT OUTSIDE THE JURISDICTION OF MATCH OFFICIALS BUT REPORTED TO THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION (FAST TRACK) – NON-STANDARD CASE
Jhon Durán, Player, Aston Villa FC

Newcastle United FC v Aston Villa FC
Premier League
26 December 2024

Breach of FA Rule E3.1 – It is alleged that in or around the 32nd minute of the fixture, following your dismissal, you acted in an improper manner.

Mr Durán admits the Charge and elects a Paper Hearing.

Do Everton fans really like Moyes? They were certainly ready for a change when he left them.  He made them tough to beat but they were full to watch and if I recall were fairly happy to see him gone.

Yes, the pundits have completely glossed over this. The fact he dumped them as soon as Manure came calling also. I hope they boo him onto the pitch.

Is it necessarily an extension. Or a charge in itself?

So could he play Wednesday but then they impose a penalty afterwards?

It’s a bit like players having their best games when they don’t play
Everton and West Ham both got rid of Moyes because of the standard of football, which is fair enough but then they failed do any better or get anywhere since he went

So he gets better the longer he’s not there
I can’t really for the life of me think why are you get rid of Dyche because of the crap football and then reappoint Moyes
But then I don’t know what sort of manager would be going in there and making anything of it

Anyway,  I don’t think Everton will be up for it I think Moyes will be negative and cautious not wanting to lose tactics based on defence.
So it’s an opportunity for us,
We don’t tend to impose ourselves or go for it ourselves, so we will probably try controlling the game and trying to break them down at the back

Additional charge, I used extension by mistake. Essentially if they decide a ban is required for the bottle kick / refusal to follow orders, it will be once the FA hearing is completed. Cunha was two weeks after his incident.

I hope that any further action from the authoroties would be a fine rather than a suspension if they do decide to punish.

Presumably if he has admitted it and dealing with it on paper then he’s going to apologise and learn from it.

Hopefully the punishment can be light given he’s already missed three games.

Got a bad feeling on this one, they will be up for this. Hopefully our quality can get us through.

We’ve lost our last 5 away league games and scored 1 and conceded 14 in those games. Now they were tough fixtures, but that it is a pretty dreadful run however you look at it. Hopefully Wednesday will be a significant improvement, because we continue to be pretty patchy.

Everton fans are divided down the middle on Moyes .
Imperative we start well , expect a frenzied start from them and game manage the situation . Looking to the experience in the team to step up .

Which is not a great situation, it would not take long for them to get restless, starting tomorrow I hope.

Yeah exactly and quite binary , if we can spoil the party i think they will turn pretty quickly . A lot of them aren't impressed with the appointment.

0-4 Villa with Moyes eyeing up another multi-million pound pay-off.
