Well that was a good way to start the Christmas period!  Thought it was a bit like the Arsenal away game where they had a bit more possession in the first half and we countered them, but then we outplayed them in the 2nd half and took control of the game.  Midfield was excellent and Duran was a real threat.

Three league trophies. And his bearing on all of them has been minimal.

Also let's not forget that he's a piece of shit rat

Well, that was pretty darn satisfying against the club I dislike most. Ah, the sweet, sweet smell of victory.

I thought that they had much of the play first half without doing much with it but we were magnificent in the second half, playing some wonderful stuff.

A number of our players had tremendous games but Morgan Rogers had a game for the ages. The way he had people bouncing off him as he went on runs was almost comedy gold. When he's in that mood he is very hard to stop.

Take a bow Morgan, take a bow.

The balance of the team is also helped by not playing that stupid back 3/5

A solid back 4 with everyone knowing their positions and what they should be doing,
this belief that throwing another centre back on the pitch makes you more solid is just crap, they get in each others way they think the other player is doing their job, it only works if that’s the system you play on a regular basis and the players get used to it, for one off games I don’t like it

....and for those who were mad that Mings wasn't starting, Haaland had his first touch in our box in the 90th minute.

We don't play the ball around and out the back like we did today int he second half without Pau in the team.

Very noticeable that the poster who was only posting mistakes by Torres soon stopped. Could have been worse though as one posted 'Mings has always done better against Haaland' which is weird as the only goal Haaland has scored against us was the one match Mings played in.

So happy the meeja narrative is fucked for the weekend. Nice of Townsend to come off the City bandwagon with two minutes to go and give us a scintilla of praise.

Townsend was unbearable. He begged so much for a Cash yellow card, he’d convinced himself he was already on one when the foul on Grealish in the middle resulted in a yellow. He was labouring under some blinkered assumption that Cash was off. Moron.

Celebrating the win with a big breakfast in San Salvador and a chap’s just walked in sporting a Jhon Duran Colombia shirt! UTFV.

We were brilliant, City didn't deserve a thing from that game. What a delight to see Pep's face at full-time :)

I thought our whole midfield was brilliant, all 9/10's ; the rest of the team were all 8's.

Exactly my thoughts as well. He really hasn’t contributed much to those 3 titles. Mind you he’s not the biggest brain in the world!

Word on the job Cash did on Grealish. Looked threatening first 15 minutes. Did nothing after that once the occasion and Cash's treatment got to him.

One takeaway from today was how much quicker we got the ball forward.  Dont know what everyone else thinks but we are at our best when play like thatas opposed to the slow patient attacking play.

If we can get a diaby type -someone quick this wpuld massively help us continue like this

Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Every single one of them an 8 out of 10, except a 9 for Duran and a 10 for Rogers. Best performance of the season - Some of that midfield play was majestic at times.

Also, a special shout for Jack. I was in the 'maybe he's worth a punt in January' camp. After seeing what he has become 'in the flesh', I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole..... Injury prone, 29 years old now and has had every ounce of the magic dust that made him hero-worshipped at Villa Park drilled out of him by Pep.

Need to NOT lose on Boxing Day now. Well done lads and Merry Xmas all!  UTV

Was Tielemans given man of the match?

By Ally McCoist yes
I don’t know how anyone could  give MOM to anyone but Rogers.

Brilliant performance from front to back.

I'm pleased that everyone is happy again and in time for Xmas.

As for Greasy, He's a diving,.whining, petulant little shit and he can fuck right off. I can see why their manager wanted him.
