Voucher system was also fallible as it wasn't directly linked to how many games you went to but by how many programmes you bought. There were lots of people who bought an extra programme  'just in case" and vouchers were being sold to people to boost their missing vouchers

I know they have to put some criteria in place but I am pretty pissed off. I am a member who has been to 15 games this season across all comps (and will be at the remaining 3 league games) Basically, if I am here then I go.

But I was on holiday for the Cardiff game, which means that I am in the 4th group and won't get a ticket. I have spent high hundreds but could have just spent £75 to go to Wembley.

It would help if we knew the criteria in advance. I would have bought a Cardiff ticket even though I was out the country and couldn't go to protect my chances of going to Wembley

Yeah, it's a nonsense. All games should be counted equally. People have loads of reasons why they can't get to one specific game.

Generally people like a system that favours them and dislike one that doesn't. No system when we have the ticket demand we do now is going to be perfect.

I remember in 2000 it was ticket stubs with points for games. Something like ManU 1 point, Wimbledon 3 points. The internet was very different back then and people still found a way to swap and sell stubs.

I'm getting a ticket anyway. Please stop assuming that anyone who disagrees with the criteria is being selfish.

It's human nature. I also said generally rather than everyone. I'm not going so criteria has zero effect on me.

Imagine if we had a system where every game you buy a ticket for is recorded against your Villa ID. Oh wait, we do

Love the Green Man in the sun on a Wembley day.

The cool kids drink in Kilburn pre-match, that's all I'm saying.
On a previous occasion attended a social club in Kilburn called Done Our Bit, not too far from the tube, it was prearranged for two coaches

Surmising we had no home FA cup games. The only logical criteria would be match attendance.

Yes but it’s not being done for fairness it’s being done to incentivise buying cup tickets in future years.

Also the precedent was set for the Preston match deliberately I think to halt any notions of season ticket entitlement,

I did call this at the time.

I'll get a ticket but it doesn't stop me thinking its ropey to put ST holders behind anyone in the queue, how ever many FA Cup games they've missed.

Make sure you complain if you feel the same way, its the only way they'll know.

How many do we think are in each group?

ST GA+ with 1 FA Cup match 23000-24000
3 FA Cup matches 5000 - 6000
Remaining ST 4000 - 5000
