Normally that volume would justify the whole of the North Stand but with the corporate seating in there now (cells etc) they cannot displace those seat holders.

Seems sensible that there are no corporate seats in away section of the whole of the top tier of the witton stand

I dont understand the wording......does it mean the whole of the upper tier is given over to west ham ?

Looks like it. Have we ever done that before?
no, never.
I'm well pissed off.

On the downside, I won't ever be attending an FA cup game again.
On the upside, this is evidence I won't be booted out of my seat completely in the near future to make way for corporate.
On the downside, by the time Heck has finished realigning the aisles, I will probably end up with a worse view.

Twenty five quid to see the reserves. I might go for that. For once I'm not up for work at 4.30 the next day. I'll decide nearer the time.

Surprised West Ham think they will sell that many for a Friday night tv game in January.

So those of us in the Witton Lane lower will have roaming Cockernees above us. Sounds like a well thought out plan to me.

I remember us giving the whole Witton Lane to Man U at least once.

In fairness they sold out a near 6k allocation for a Carabao R3 game played at Liverpool on a Wednesday night earlier in the season which was live on SKY.

Back then, the away fans were the ones at risk of having things thrown at them from above.
Now, it is the people who have spent £10K on a season ticket in the lower DE.

Happens at most grounds. Arsenal and Spurs fans are above the away ens. As are Wolves, Liverpool and many others.

I don't think we ever gave MU the whole Witton Lane, but I do remember us giving them half the lower plus the North stand.

Most of us, me included, have spent less than £1K on a season ticket. It’s only those in the new lounges and padded seats who have shelled out big money.

We had 6000 tickets at Stamford Bridge last January on a Friday night in the Cup and could have sold a lot more.

I wasn't accusing everyone in the lower DE of shelling out big money for their season tickets, just as I haven't in the upper DE. The point I was making is that people who have shelled out big money are now amongst those of risk of having things thrown on them.

Ignore: it did that weird thing where I tried to edit my post and it turned it into a quote.
