Was that the Harry Potter film that had Gary Oldman in it?

Certainly sounds like it should be the latest book from Rowling!

I remember the  everton  home game when we won 2-0 wesley and el ghazi  that was electric on a Friday

Wasn’t that the first game back after being in the Championship, you’re right though, great atmosphere.

It was, a beautifully warm Summers evening. The polar (!) opposite of a dreich Friday night in January.

It was also a bank holiday weekend which added to the magic of the occasion

Aston Villa can confirm ticket prices for the FA Cup third-round tie with West Ham United at Villa Park.

In line with our previous announcement, adult tickets will be priced at £25, with over-66 and under-21 admission priced at £20. All under-18 tickets will be just £10.

In line with the FA Cup’s regulations, West Ham have exercised their right to 15 per cent of the stadium’s allocation, which at Villa Park amounts to 6,500 tickets. These tickets will be allocated across the usual away section of the Doug Ellis Witton Lane Stand lower as well as the entire Doug Ellis Witton Lane Stand upper section.

While this means a temporary displacement of season ticket holders in the Doug Ellis Witton Lane upper section, all those affected will be offered the opportunity to purchase a ticket in other parts of the stadium.

Looks like pretty sensible pricing to me. Well done Chris Heck and Villa!

Does that mean they get (in effect) 2/3 of the Witton Lane stand?

Interesting they don’t get the North anymore. Hopefully with Spammers near the Holte it’ll help the atmosphere.

I wonder if that change is due to the new GA+ offerings in the North Stand.

Nope - I guess it keeps them in two tiers and one stand - unlike giving them the normal away seats and the upper and lower North, as has been done recently.
