As that link states, they have posted it because of multiple meetings with their FAB etc. Arsenal get to a lot more finals then Villa have over the last 10 years, so maybe until this year they kept on changing the criteria and have now decided to be more transparent from the off after the FAB.

Quick question though, did a mate send you this or are you now checking every Prem team cup criteria to compare?

I was actually looking for previous seasons wembley allocations, just saw the link and thought it seemed a good thing for Arsenal to do.

Is that acceptable lads?

No. I'm FURIOUS!

Just read on the club website- for the Cardiff game “attendance at this game could be included for future sales criteria for further FA cup matches”

So it does state a criteria

Yep - but there has always been a priority for ST holders who have been to all of the cup games over ST holders who haven't - so there was no reason to believe that this was new.

At an FAB meeting, I think it was last season, priority for cup games was given as a benefit for having a sesson ticket. They didn't say only for home matches but if long cup runs are going to be the exception rather than the rule they should be more specific

It has always been the rule that ST holders have priority and has generally been accepted.
This wouldn’t and shouldn’t be a conversation, the arguments of how to distribute the remainder with membership is now easily remedied.
But Heck likes divide and rule, it’s his  raison d’être.

I'd like to see those of us who used to stand on the left side of The Holte prioritised, as we were just cooler.

I'd agree if you mean on the left side as you look towards the pitch!?
I believe the people on the right side were known to watch Swap Shop.

They are getting priority over members who have attended equivalent cup games. If anything the season ticket holders who attended one or two have got lucky with the criteria for the semi. But I sense the Club didn’t want the backlash.

When people started citing the terms and conditions for priority I said the wording was opaque.

Hence the need for transparency going forward, can't see why anyone would have an issue with wanting that.

East Side as predicted on here

Apologies if this has been asked already (and may seem a dumb question), but how far round does the East side consisist of? Does it comprise an arc from the centre of the South side to the centre of the North side? Reason I'm asking is it would be useful to know in advance of tomorrow's sale so as to try to get into - Villa allocated - same-numbered  blocks as family/friends.   Perhaps the ticket office could have indicated the range of numbered blocks with the original ticket info?

Surely most season ticket holders will have been to at least one FA Cup home game, so about 28,000 people will become eligible for a ticket at the same time tomorrow.

Thought they might stagger it a little bit more than that. The website is going to be fun

Maybe 20-25,000 because there’s 27,000 ST holders and it won’t be all of them, but I think your point still stands.

Just got my Wembley tickets.  That was painless enough.
