Bade sounds a bit closer now with Diego on his way.

Although - whichever Emi it is, his point still stands. The biggest transfer fee ever in the Argentinian league is around £10m.

We're never breaking even on little Emi, but I imagine he's got enough in the tank that he could easily be the attacking midfielder for the bottom third of the Premier League, and that's more valuable than what Argentinian clubs are paying.

Yeah he’s definitely Premier League quality, but not good enough to regularly start for a team competing for Europe.

Plays as a right back and winger. Interesting.

Transfermarkt has him valued at £1.2m. That’s like small change from down the back of Monchi’s sofa.

It's been reported that Sporting put in a bid for him and he asked for a few days to consider it, as he knew Villa were interested. If we put in a formal bid he'll likely come to Villa, but either way should be decided in the next day or so.

The name of the back of his shirt reads GAR IA.

Aston Villa have already reached an agreement with Levante & Andrés García — fee less than €10m. He will not be loaned back out.

No idea. Given he's 21 and has played 38 times in the Spanish second division, I'd imagine he's more of a 'prospect' than potential first-teamer.

Judging by the classic clips, good upper body strength, very good crosser of the ball, technically sound and relatively quick and nice eyes.

Didn't spot the last one but saw the other things in the video I watched. Seems to match up with the well rounded profile we seem to go for. For the price, has the potential to be bit of a bargain.
