He'll move on our terms in this window.

Fenerbahçe have asked about Diego Carlos.
@ertansuzgun

Hope the forwards in Turkey are ready for a bear hug.

I can’t see anyway we’re selling a centre half now Pau is out.

Not sure about that. It was widely reported we tried to move him on in the summer, so if it means we get one or more defenders Emery feels fit his system better then I could see it happening. Especially if it meant getting a player that can also play right back to compete with Konsa and Cash.

I agree. Given PSR there very clearly could be a one-in-one-out.

When Carlos plays it's like juggling with a hand grenade with the pin pulled and hoping it's a dud.  Best that he leaves.

If the've asked us if he's any good I hope we lied and told them he's brilliant.

We're rumoured to have offered €15m for Flamengo's right-back, Wesley França. The club's board have rejected the offer.

Only 21, and has played 50+ league games for them. https://x.com/AstonVillabrfc/status/1874932769073094996

They had agreed to sell him to Atalanta last summer for €16m with an additional €4m in add-ons. Barca are rumoured to have offered €22m but there's little evidence to back that up.

I'd forget Antonio Silva at Benfica, they've said they don't want to sell any players this window and the only way he'd be leaving is if somebody offered his €100m release clause. Either way he's be expensive and not within out January budget.

My elder son and DIL saw him play in the second-half (came on as sub) of the Flamengo v Penarol CONMEBOL Libertadores, Q-F, first leg when they were back in Rio in September. My DIL is desperate for us to sign him, especially as her family are all Flamengo fans.

She can tell her family he wants to join a big club. That will go down well with Flamenguistas. :)
Ha ha. To be fair, her parents have become Villa fans and watch our matches on TV whenever they are able!

That right sided defender will be fascinating. I wonder if someone like Tomori on a loan to buy type deal might be looked at. Not the dominant centre back we need but could be a very decent signing.

Asked Unai Emery about Louie Barry's future: He is really performing very well. We want to introduce him again with us here and to take again another decision with him. But he has potential. We are happy with him. If he can help us, he will do it."

Emery: "But in case, his progression is better to go on loan and to play more minutes and confidence, playing at a higher level than he has played, of course, is the plan with him."

Currently, Louie Barry has a minor injury, but once back in training Emery says #AVFC will decide on his long-term future, be it a loan or a permanent move.

Emery on signing a right-back: "With Kosta we have a plan. We wanted him to do pre-season & wanted him part of the squad for the first part of the season.

"It’s one option to let him go on loan. In case he goes on loan, we are trying to find something on the right side.

It befuddles me that we have to worry about spending when Man City who have over a hundred offences still outstanding with apparently no penalty forthcoming.

Or the song from Aladdin. "Prince Ali, fabulous he, Ali Ababwa".

"Al-Makki, came from Saudi, Ali Al-Makki"

But we have no idea whether they have penalties incoming. If they weren't worried about the prospect, it would have been settled years ago.

Paris St-Germain are set for talks with Aston Villa over a cash-plus-player swap deal involving France forward Randal Kolo Muani, 26, and Colombia striker Jhon Duran, 21.

You can guess which wankstain site the above "knowledge" came from before the BBC picked it for their gossip page.

PSG can fuck off and when they get there they can fuck off some more. Muani is wasted lazy aershole. Our boy is a diamond awaiting polish.
