With Digne’s contract running down and his reported wage, there’s a discussion to be had what happens with him. The fact that KWP can play both left and right would be a plus.

Digne very much seems like an issue we need to worry about in the future, not now.

I haven’t watched him forensically, so would welcome more informed opinions, but I’ve really liked the look of Dalot at Man Utd when he’s played right-back.

No idea of the fee or money he’s on there, but they are up against FFP aren’t they?

Me too, and I mentioned this to someone else recently and they looked at me like I'd fell from Mars.

Kinda.  Maastsen’s signing means we do not need to panic about the LB until summer 2026.

I agree , as a conventional RB that is ok going forward. Not suited to the wing back role that Amorin is wedded to.
Pretty sure he would be available, but no idea if within our range.

My point being we didn’t need to sign him as we had Digne and Moreno but still did, considerably reducing our spending power in other areas, I’m aware of the financial juggling with Chelsea but even so.

There has to be a good, athletic, up and coming young right back at can find to challenge Cash. Surely that's why you have multiple scouting teams around the world.

Isn’t his name Nedeljković? Any more ready-made and he’d be very expensive (we spent £8m on Ned and he looks q a way from being ready)

I’m sure they thought Digne was off and Moreno was not looking anything like the player before his injury.

Kayode's not playing much for Fiorentina if we still fancy signing him.

I don't see the point of going for someone like Walker-Peters, he's the same age as Cash and about the same in terms of ability so I'm not sure what he'd add.

Avoiding playing Konsa at RB again hopefully. Think Emery would be looking for a stronger defender than KWP though he's a decent player.

Philogene obviously had a great season with Hull
last year but I did think resigning him, FFP/PSR reasons aside, was a strange call from Emery. Physically he wasn't able for PL football from the outset. Right decision to move him on to Ipswich if it comes to pass.

Another bargain bucket option. Borja Sainz at Norwich, 23, basque, top scorer in the championship so far, 15 goals so far.

Never seen him or even heard of him tbh but we could send Buendia the other way.

He's like the player El Ghazi wanted to be but never was.

Forgot about him, was a pretty credible link in the summer if I remember?
