Being linked with Dewsbury-Hall in Jan, which should be worth a few National Trust jokes at least.

No thanks

They can't be any worse than the ones in the 'JOKES' thread.

Is Mount's career in freefall or a good player just being mismanaged? With Ramsey's injury problems not slowing, we definitely need cover at RM and LM.

I’d forgotten he existed. The waste at Man U is frightening/delightful.

Not exactly a priority position to fill ...

Wouldn't have thought so.  RW and RB are the priorities on that order for me.

If we only have the money to spend on one player in January, my priority would be a left or right sided, pacey midfielder.

I don't think it's specifically a Right sided winger we need, but more an adaptable pacy forward who can play across the line.

We just need to replace Diaby. Joao Felix was the obvious summer target and just like a few other summer targets when he went elsewhere there was no plan B and we went with our existing options.

I think we'll loan Buendia out to a championship side just to raise his value for a summer move so we'll be even lighter in that area at end of window so would expect someone to be signed but probably a more Rogers type potential signing.

Are Omari and Chucky even getting into Chelsea's B-Squad for the Euro Conference ?

Chukwuemeka has played a few minutes as sub in Europe and the League Cup. There's various rumours that he's off in January with AC Milan the latest club linked. Kellyman got injured just before deadline day and hasn't played since. Probably just as well as he was being linked with a loan move to Small Heath.

Put it this way, I'd rather have the 40 million.

Chuck was looking ok last season when fit but clearly not rated by maresca. Like you rather have 20m but i think i would have rather given kellyman game time and not signed philiogene as he has offered  virtually  nothing all season.

But it was clear FFP was reason we had to

Scene similar to the 'break my arm' one in Escape to Victory comes to mind.

I found that scene in Escape To Victory really difficult to understand as a kid because the player whose arm they broke was Kevin O'Callaghan who wasn't a goalkeeper and I hadn't noticed him playing one in the film.

Agree with the sentiment but they’re different positions so it wouldn’t solve the problem.  We are well stocked with attacking players down the middle, we need wingers.

I hope we are looking for a wide midfielder/forward with pace to give Bailey some competition. Even a Zaniolo type who can pop up with the odd match saving goal here and there.
