Cracking thread this. Shows the calibre of the H&V regulars. I'm there today and I'm really hoping a spontaneous round of "Gary Shaw,Gary Shaw, Gary Gary Shaw, when he gets the ball he's bound to score, Gary Gary Shaw" breaks out on minute 8. If not I'll just sing it on my own. I'll be in the NS lower if anyone wants to join in.

The latest news - again unconfirmed but from a reliable source - is nothing's changed and more tests are being carried out.

Yeah. I will be singing that as well, so that’s two of us.

Please tell me it happened?

I made the most of not being there and had a lovely afternoon with my parents visiting me and their granddaughters, found the perfect place for lunch, feeding golden carp, soft play and some vegan brownies to bring home. Really trying to savour moments with loved ones while we can.

Just as my Dad was about to drive off we heard Radio 5 saying ‘Duran goal of the weekend’ even my Mum was saying, is that the Villa?
Alma age 5: “Daddy what’s a thunderbolt?”

Hope we can sing it on Saturday at 8mins, we’ll all be there in our new (fake!)* shirts

*yes I know ethically dodgy, but £184 less than the price I’d have paid at the club shop should I have been able to afford it :/

Mmmmm.   I wonder why ticket prices have to go up to support a business trying to comply with rules that are revenue based ?

You really think the Sky6 don't sell way more fakes than we do?

Didn't notice it near me, but then it was mostly younger supporters in their 20's and 30's and I'm not confident enough to start one.

Noticed the screens had a video which started with Gary Shaw but it turned out to be screamers scored by us over the last 40 odd years. They just need to edit Durans in now.

I'm sure they do. Especially in Asia etc. The general point remains. The ciub needs revenue. It can come from any and every source. Anything that denies club income via fakes has an adverse impact.  IMO it's the rules that needs challenging. But until that happens we have to increase revenue - simple as. Maybe when Citeh115 win their case because they've got better lawyers then that will open the gates and good owners like ours can start to compete with the likes of Chelsea and ManU who can run up crazy debts but keep on spending.

Maybe the £184 saved goes towards match tickets, which the club make way more on per £1 spent. Not everyone can afford both.

Although this isn't the thread for this debate.

Posting this after Purple Trousers post, shows a huge lack of self awareness on your part.
