They have also won more this season with still three games to play then any season since promotion from League 1. Hopefully his play-off record stays the same as last time as well.

They were seventeenth when Lampard took over. They're currently sixth. Of course he's had an impact.

They did the same thing two years ago when they lost to Luton in the playoff final. And last year they got to the semi final of the Cup.

However Robins was preparing them they have consistently improved as each season went on.

Lampard signed Grimes this year - not sure of anybody else.

Fairly local to me. Cov supporters pretty honest about it.

Yeah, there's no way moving from a relegation battle to the promotion play-offs isn't making a positive impact, local or otherwise.

In 2022, at the same November point Lampard took over, Cov were 11th but that was only 3 points behind 5th place. Last season they were no where near the play-offs in the first three months or when they finished, (albeit managed to get to the SF of the Cup). This season they were 12 points away from the play-offs and three points away from relegation. So although it seems a surge might be occasionally in the records, they were starting from further back under Lampard and yet he could match or break the finish Robins did.

It's Sunderland for me. Purely on the basis it's the only ground of the contenders that I haven't been to yet.
Decent ground, impoverished town , stay in Newcastle if you go up there .

I think I'd take Arsenal winning the CL over either of the other 2 winning the Europa. Obviously none of them winning anything is the ideal, but gun to head.... Arsenal winning something seems less awful.

Jesus Christ, really? Think about it. You really want Arsenal joining our club? I can't think of anything worse.

Who gives a shit if Man United with the EL. That's the sort of thing that is forgotten before it's even finished.

On this occasion I agree. The thought of Man U or Tottenham qualifying for the Champions League ahead of us is nauseating. We haven't had a season where we do better than Man U since I was one year old. Those ****** can't keep winning trophies even when they're absolutely shite while we continue winning nothing even when we're mostly good. Winning the FA Cup would help take the edge off.

I know what you mean, but Man Utd think the EL is beneath them anyway, so winning it won't mean anything - and even if they qualify for the CL, there's not a shit in hell's chance they're progressing deep.

Whereas Arsenal winning it would be a huge moment for them and their bellend supporters. As my brother says, the only positive of Liverpool winning the PL is that Arsenal will finally finish above Man City, but not actually win it.

I want to have one season in my life (that I can remember) where we do better than those ******. Last year they were shite and they won the FA Cup. This year they've been much worse and win the Europa League? Plus at least Arsenal have got to the semis of the CL fairly. Every time I've seen Man U in that competition this season, they've got decisions that would make a Juventus fan blush. Finally, I like Bilbao, so I'd like them to win a trophy, whereas PSG, Barcelona and Inter are all wankers. So at least if Arsenal win there's the joy of those twats losing.
