Anyone who has followed football since the 70s and is ‘disappointed’ those victims have lost today, haven’t been paying attention.

Great day for football all over the country.

That was quick. How long since you signed up?

How long since you signed on?

You can cut that out thanks.

Apologies, with English my second language I was just asking the same question as ‘when did I sign in up’.

I hope you direct the same sentiment to the other poster who said sign up.

End of the day it’s great for football with Newcastle. Arsenal and Rangers all winning today.

Bitter sweet result this .

It's a shame there's an int'l break now. They might have been a bit groggy if they had games midweek and next weekend.

Yeah I think they'll take a massive boost from lifting the cup and will be boosted now in their top 5 pursuit. Defeat would have left them totally flattened.

The one positive from today is that if Newcastle can score twice against Liverpool in 90 mins, it shows how poor PSG were in scoring just one against them in 210 mins.

I did think that. Has PSG's level been overplayed because Liverpool have fell off a cliff.

Great player. Absolute cheating bastard who got away with murder because he played for England (until he couldn't be arsed any more). Seems to be an utter twat in real life. Even Geordies that know him don't tend to like him.

Evidence please? Obviously wasn't a fan of Shearer back in the day, but he's been increasing nice about us on MOTD. I actually was quite pleased for him celebrating today.

Just various stuff online about him being famously tight fisted and unpleasant to people he considers beneath him. Booby Charlton vibes, basically.

He turned up at an office event that I organised in Newcastle (17 years ago 😳) and there was a standing ovation from everyone. Not sure where you're getting your info from.

Was thinking the same. They’re down already.

I do hate that goal celebration though. They should run an electric charge through the fence to prevent it in future.

Percy isn't on JSA, but what difference would it make if he was?

Rory, this lovely fellow welcomes the success of a murderous, bigoted regime, shares the joy of a bigoted fan-base, and calls Liverpool victims.

There’s nothing else worth finding out about people with views like that. We already know.

They were never going to be that shit for so long. I reckon they’ll sneak top half with a late run. That said they’ve had a few piss easy fixtures lately.
