i watched a bit of the build up, first there was arrogant scouser personified, then a couple of Blokes in Liverpool shirts with thick Brummie accents.
That did it for me.

Anyone who has followed football since the 70s and is ‘disappointed’ those victims have lost today, haven’t been paying attention.

Great day for football all over the country.

Anybody who didn't think this would be the biggest media wankfest since That Night in Barcelona really doesn't know much about football.

Yep. Precisely why I wanted Liverpool to win. It’s going to be beyond vomit inducing for a good while now.

That was quick. How long since you signed up?

Happy for Newcastle, normally I wouldn't care but after Slot's arrogance at VP I want them to lose everything. Serves him right, the twat.

and we got persecuted for a few jokes about Ant and Dec
They actually showed the Sob on the Tyne banner in the build-up to the game. They never forgave us for it but i was there and no-one i knew was wanting them to drop.

Absolutely everyone I knew who has any interest, wanted them down. I had messages from Noses saying they were hoping Villa won.

I wanted them to drop. I can't understand why any non-Newcastle supporter wouldn't unless they had some other team they wanted to take their place. It was even more ironic that Shearer was in charge AND Owen was playing. The only thing I will mention is the Sob on the Tyne is remembered, but the other one which is forgotten about "Who will be the next saviour, ant or dec?"

I just hope they have a post trophy win poor streak now. I think they have enough points to stay up but it would be funny if they start plummeting.

This will give the PIF FC a massive lift for the run in. Bad result for us I fear.

I always credit Shearer with being very balanced, bordering on positive, about us since then. No doubt he - unlike most of their squawking, deluded fans - understood that any club would've taken the piss just as much as we did.

Happy for Matty Targett. Harmless fella, would probably be a virgin if he wasn't a footballer.
