They seemed to have a lot of energy in extra time. They should have had it all wrapped up in the first game really though.

PSG’s centre half (captain ?) is suspended for the 1st leg which has got to help their future opponents, and the fact their keeper only turns into a worldie when it goes to pens.

Weather the early storm in the first half at their place, and their future opponents will be able to pick them off.

“Whoever wins tomorrow will go through to the final, I’ve no doubt.”

It would be nice to get past Brugge to have a crack at taking Enrique down a peg or two.

I think their goalkeeper is generally very good, and it is just Liverpool luck that he happened to chuck one in during the first game when he could have spent most of the match having a kip, for all that they were attacking.

He's never had to face Ollie Watkins in a one on one. Let's see how good he is then.

I wasn’t overly convinced by him over the two legs to be honest. He’s not terrible though and good at stopping poor pens.

He's fine - he's just struggling to live up the reputation he had as a 17 year old when he was supposed to turn into the best goalkeeper ever.

He hasn't, he's just turned into a perfectly decent one.

Slot.

"We played the perfect game, except for scoring a goal. It was similar to Paris last week, when they played the perfect game and didn't score. And then in extra time, they were maybe a little bit better."

Haha, we played perfect, except for the bit where we didn't achieve our main aim.

I only saw the first half but it was pretty even, if anything PSG were the better side.

PSG were definitely better in extra time. Granted only a couple of really clear cut chances and a couple of long range shots but they broke quickly and had Liverpool on back foot.

Punched at a lot, didn't see him catch the ball all night

I think he might be a bit worried about his receding hair line, which looks a thankless task at this stage, but then I thought the same about Matty Cash, and his is just about holding on.

Just had a 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' fan (from Yeovil, of course) at work tell me PSG will smash us.   Obviously I pointed out we are not playing them yet and have a very difficult 2nd leg to negotiate first.  I'm not taking the piss out if any of them today, not tempting fate.

He's excellent at taking out crosses particularly low ones with a diving punch and getting some distance on them too.
Looked excellent on pens too. Really fills the goal up.

He's had a few poor performances in the last 6 months and at one point he was struggling to hold on to the starting spot for them, their back up keeper got quite a few games before christmas.
