A lot of chat how Slot was such a nice guy. He’s just a Klopp tribute act, aggression to the ref at the end.

Fantastic Merseyside Derby send off for Goodison , one of the last proper grounds left .

With the emphasis on 'send off'

Appropriate that a celebration on Merseyside should end in a mass brawl

Curtis Jones sent off

Oh he's bang average, can't one of their good players be suspended?

A proper wrong'un too by some accounts.

Cundy and O'ara are saying that if a manager gets red-carded, he doesn't have to do (can't?) his post-match media interviews afterwards. Is that true?!

It's a true fitting send off . Glad it ended like that rather than a drab 1-2 away win. Great for the historians. Kids will talk about it in 50 years time . My grandad was there etc .

Gap between the top 4 and the rest in the Championship is massive.

Sunderland and 1 place above Blackburn, but 14 points clear of them!

It's crackers. The lowest placed play off team, Albion, are pointwise closer to the relegation zone than they are to the automatic promotion spots

Everton celebrating like they've won.
Reminds of Birmingham city, plucky team with no amount of talent but managed to get a point, another victory
You monster. Why would you insult one of the grand old clubs by comparing them to Brum's shame?

Nothing wrong with celebrating an injury time equaliser in a derby game against one of the best teams in Europe.

It seems to be a recent trend, where people get angry when anybody celebrates anything short of winning a league or cup. What's the point in spending thousands of pounds watching football if you can't be happy when something good happens? I blame that misery-arse Roy Keane.

Speaking of the Championship, I just noticed Luton are bottom of it. I know they weren't fit for the Premier League but that's a surprise.

I think our kid predicted that, to be fair. Plymouth looked dead a buried but three wins in a row including beating Liverpool and they're right in the mix, now. Amazing what sacking Wayne Rooney does for you...

Yep, I was looking at where Plymouth was and spotted that as well. They won't be the first team to be relegated in successive seasons.

I noticed Milan's ploy to take the best player off the team they were playing next isn't currently working.

Brugges get a fortunate pen to win their game again and Monaco’s pitch is shown up for all its awfulness with players slipping all over the place in one penalty area. Isn’t there a standard set by UEFA?
