The clubs themselves and the club’s managers killed the FA Cup
If they don’t take it seriously why should anyone else

The premier league killed the FA cup the money differential is just too great. That and an influx of managers from overseas where the cup was seen as a distraction. Can’t say I’m that bothered.
ManUre didn't enter it one year , that was a major turning point . The arrogance of them wankers

Far be it for me to defend those ****** but didn't the FA tell them to not enter so that they could play in a proto world club cup?

Without wanting to defend that lot, they only withdrew at the request of the FA who wanted them in Brazil for the World Club Championship.

The FA were worried that their bid for the 2006 World Cup would be screwed if they didn't dance to FIFA's tune.

It'd be a pretty mean thing if he doesn't come on. But knowing the manager's dna...

Ironic that he managed to grab a premiership medal due to nepotism rather than playing ability. (Roy Keane's words not mine) I have to say I agree with Roy on this one.

Didn't watch it, but they were one-nil down when they made their fifth sub. They were absolutely right to do what they thought was best to try to take the game to extra-time, rather than going for the heartwarming choice. It's a cup game, not a testimonial.

Good away point for Rangers. Keeps them well clear of Dundee United and Aberdeen.

It's a shame that the arse completely fell out of Aberdeen, or that league (or, at least, the race for the second Champions League spot) could have been quite good fun.

The Aberdeen drop off has been astonishing 9-1-0 in the first 10 the 0-3-7 in the next ten I think.
