If anyone is looking for something to do tonight I can suggest AFTV along with popcorn.

Brighton are a good side, a draw for us against them last week might not be that bad after all.

Pretty possession football but no real inventiveness or ability to score.

Arsenal finally get a year where Man City are shit and they can’t take advantage. Liverpool will piss the league now.

Spurs fans moaning like we did that the ref letting the Mags get away with murder.

The managers post match interview is quite funny.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cn85mrvd838o

But Newcastle really do get away with murder.

Ange is right. Newcastle are playing with a helping hand.

Having seen the Brighton penalty...I think it is a penalty? If that were their feet coming together rather than their heads, nobody's complaining, surely? What's the difference?

Not sure how Newcastles 1st goal is allowed given a blatant handball in the build up

Except when they needed to score last Monday and today they did. Just saying.

And equally not sure how that oil tanker who plays in middle of their defence didn’t get a second yellow?

Nothing blatant. Ball was hit against him. Subjective and could have gone either way.

The elbow from Joelinton though and Burns non-yellows are a lot worse decisions from the reffing team though.

I thought if a handball (intentional or not) that led to a goal would mean no goal . I hate Spurs as much as the next man but that's harsh that goal

Only if Gordan, the scorer had handballed it. Handballs by other players in the build-up has not been instantly penalised since the beginning of last season. Hence why the ref had to make the decision by screen against West Ham for Souceks handball at theirs last season.

Per IFAB in 2021, “As the interpretation of handball incidents has not always been consistent due to incorrect applications of the law, the members confirmed that not every touch of a player’s hand/arm with the ball is an offence.” It added: “Accidental handball that leads to a team-mate scoring a goal or having a goal-scoring opportunity will no longer be considered an offence.”

Having seen it on MOTD, I'd say it was accidental.
