Defeat at anfield or Stamford Bridge or St James Park for that matter is not too bad as long as we beat them at Villa Park. That part is crucial though.

We’ve got all of those games in the second half of the season. Knowing our luck they’ll all be after important CL matches.

Chelsea will be after second leg of play off round if we're in it. Liverpool is after second leg of RO16 if we're in it. Newcastle is after second leg of QF if we're in it.

Well, Liverpool are more certain of being involved in the Champions League at that point when we are. That will almost certainly be a vital game for them, too. Not sure how seriously Chelsea will take the Conference League, but it will still be better than them playing nobody.

Chelsea won't be in playoff round though.

There's not many midweeks when there isn't a potential CL fixture in truth.

They have played the third string for most of it and dominated. I can't see them changing that when they are in for a return to the CL.

I was looking at the Conf League table the other day, it’s noticeably weaker than last year. If Chelsea don’t win that they should give up.

Looking at the fixture calendar, they've left all FA cup round dates free until QFs. Something to cling to when we surrender to the 'Ammers in Round 3.

That helps us massively  cheers 'The Mighty Reds YNWA'

Still convinced they’ll finish above us?

I was never "convinced" just a prediction.  They got battered  by liverpool like we did. We currently are only 5 points clear with not even half the volume of games played yet so its too early to say. Ask me again in 10 ganes.

Ill happily hope my prediction is wrong.

“Pretty sure they’d finish above us” is what you said. And Man U.

Try being a little bit more optimistic. You’ll have a lovely time.

"Pretty sure they would finish above us" is not saying i am convinced spurs will finish above us. So you are completely wrong there with your wording.

If you want to be precise over wording, you've said that the current squad has "no chance" of finishing in the top five, so which five do you definitely have finishing ahead of us?

I said in the context of our form at the time. Would be great if you could actually include everything instead of misleading the forum thank you.

Are you still pretty sure they’ll finish above us?

I read enough of your posts, thanks. I’m not going to seek them all out.

Well clearly not as you used the wrong wording

You've spent the entire season saying we're a mid table side and that you're "worried" , you're always worried, especially about Tottenham finishing above use. You have zero ability to ever admit you're wrong or have been wrong.

Its also hilarious you suggesting to other people to be positive. After any defeat you're a pit of despair yet you're here after we've won spouting like you're some sunshine filled cheer leader.

We all have our faults, might be good to admit to your own for once

I wonder if Bournemouth/Forrest will have some "bigger" teams sniffing around some of their squad in January.

There wasn't a lot of movement last January so maybe they'll be left intact, but I remember the amount of speculation around several of our players this time last year.
