Now I’m not going to get into the Kane bashing stuff, he’s clearly an excellent player and at his best he’s England’s best striker. But if he wasn’t fit enough to be in the squad in the last game there’s no way he’s fully fit. It probably won’t matter today, but he/whoever the manager is need to be stronger and less self-centred. If he isn’t fit he shouldn’t be an automatic starter.
