It wasnt very hollywood. Reynolds wasnt there, there was only brady, beckham and neville and the other wrexham owner.

The other Wrexham owner is a star of his own co-created, co-produced and co-written comedy show which has been going 16 seasons so far. Highly recommend you watch it.

Why are the beeb giving so much credence and coverage to the tramps, and why the fuck is being called the "Hollywood derby?"  Blose have got a former American Footballer who lives on the East coast in their corner, fuck all to do with Hollywood.

Because they're Box Office, Baby!

“owners and minority stakeholder more famous than either club, derby” wasn’t quite as catchy.

Mythic Quest is also very good. I'd far prefer him to Reynolds, to be honest.

Absolutely. They both seem like decent sorts, but in terms of their professional output, McElhenney is Paul McGrath to Reynolds' James Chester.

Ryan Reynolds global revenues from his various movies and overall net worth far outstrip anything Rob has generated in his career. Thye both are good people, and maybe I am bit more partial to Reynolds given he is Canadian. But he's a truly excellent person who through my partner who works with him at a corporate level I met a couple of times.

You can make a fortune for a show that's syndicated. Both seem very nice fellas.

Reynolds being in films (and with the right head for business deals) does generate more revenue. But doesn't mean Rob should be relegated to only the "other Wrexham owner".

Obviously, but I'm talking about what they've made not how much money they've made.

Might just be to avoid to trying to spell his last name.

I've seen the rags a few times so far and to be fair, for that level they play some decent stuff. They'll get carried away with themselves as they always do, but compared to what they've had for the last decade (entire history?) this must feel like Christmas for them.

I know a lot of lads that used to go in the old Third Division and they were never happier, it's not the joy of developing a great side that appeals to them as fans, it's being able to punch down, intimidate and outspend that excites them.
They get to pretend they're big, briefly.

They want to feel relevant in the bigger picture, they're not. They'll take anything that makes them appear so though and use it just for the fleeting moment of relevance that it brings even though it has nothing to do with football.

LeeB it’s quite unlike you to pin up a verbose post like this but yes I agree with all you have said😊

They're giving it Billy Big Bollocks in the 3rd tier, against Wrexham. A side that has just spent 15 years as a non league club. Bless.
