Does anyone have any news on Barrenechea? - I checked out his details today and he appears to have only had one game for Valencia so far. I hope this loan works out for him because I think he'll be a real asset next season.

Came on for the second half last weekend as Valencia got tonked by Atletico Madrid.

Was that him winning the ball back for the first, trademark slider?

Valencia’s first win since April apparently.

Not a penalty, either.

"Our" Dobbin nowhere to be seen for the Tesco Baggies at the weekend. How about Illing Jr?

Who replaced Jedinak as the Loans Guy?  Must be a tough gig having to visit Valencia, Bolgna and the Basque Country every few months.

Iling-Junior got 45 minutes against Parma. 0-0.

Bologna look like they'll be quite tedious in a couple of weeks. One win, one defeat and five draws so far, hardly any goals scored or conceded.

Goody.

Kane Kesler-Hayden - season loan at PNE.

Played at Plymouth yesterday - he was on loan there last season. I asked a mate who's an Argyle ST holder what he thought of KKH's performance:

"Remember him from last year at Argyle. Not very noticeable today didn’t realise he was playing for ages. Not a premiership player, Villa should offload him in January."

He turned 22 last week - keep or sell?
