Lewis Dobbin - out on loan to Well Beaten Again
« on: June 21, 2024, 03:19:16 PM »
I know he's a young kid but probably deserves his own thread like any new signing. Romano stating that both this deal and Tim is done. Tim medical done, Dobbin today.

I feel uneasy about these too-early signing threads.

And me. the Danny Drinkwater one turning out to be true still gives me nightmares.

Feels a bit underwhelming, but I expect Unai to turn him into a thoroughbred.

He's 21 & couldn't get a game in the second half of last season at a relegation battling Everton.

But if this is us sticking our two fingers up to the Premier League & fucking over PSR, then good.

I just wish that we had sold them a dud in the same mould as Dobbin.

Having an ankle injury is why he didn't play much.

How could this be us fucking over PSR though, how would that work?

We both bank a fee in this year’s accounts for a sale. Whilst a negligible outgoing fee, spread across the length of the contract, is in the outgoings. Good for us and Everton in that regard. I think.
