I did have a bit of a ‘where have those years gone’ moment during that. 5 years since the 10 game run and promotion. 4 years since the pandemic and West Ham away, Trez, I’d almost forgotten about him. 3 years since Grealish went, passage of time and all that.

You tuber, talk sport 2 and Sky transfer window presenter.

Sound like a right w@nker.

He has/had pet rabbits so he’s a top bloke in my eyes.

Not a fan of the forced rhyming thing, but otherwise very good indeed.
Well done Dan.

I think it works well in this fun context. Annoying when it’s performance poetry.

Who?

Love a bit of rabbit, it's very tasty. I even went for the rabbit lasagna when I was in Cuba, but prefer it in a red wine stew.

I've never been to South Korea.

All gone so quick.

Had memories of it regardless with Talksport on currently and they're hosting from Box Park at Wembley.

The play off final v Derby remains the only time I've ever been confident we'd win a game at Wembley (deep down I thought Fulham would beat us the previous year). When you look back we just had to win it as Grealish would've left and Mings would never have signed full time. McGinn probably would've stayed I think.

Been a fantastic ride in the last five years. The annoying thing is we could've had this season a little sooner if we hadn't wasted a year on the Slippy vanity project.

Don’t stress about that. Remember Unai was in the mood to stay at Villareal when Slippy came in

He was about to join Newcastle but turned them down last minute.

There were plenty of other good managers around at that time. It was a shame we sacked our most popular manager in decades to get in Gerrard.

Luckily we sacked him just in time otherwise 22/23 would've been a total write off. Getting Europe was the stepping stone we needed to get top 4 this season.

That must have taken some serious effort. Well done, Dave Barbell.

I like Dan Bardell and this does a good job of stringing together some great memories, but the rhyming thing used on it makes me want to slit my own face off

I really don't understand the "Who is Dan Bardell?" thing but fair play apart from the rhyming scheme.
