Leeds and Newcastle both allowed to go back to their old badge on Adidas kits, I see. Hopefully Villa see sense next season and we have the round, correct, badge back.

There is no way after the amount of money spent on branding this new badge. Tbh the design isnt bad its the colouring thats shit. It actually looks nice in mono

Whilst i dont mind the new badge that much, the round badge would look fantastic on the new shirt.

I imagine we spent good money changing it last year, too. I've come to accept we change badge as often as we change kits, it's nice to have something extra to argue about each year.

Looking at the Newcastle third kit (they haven't announced their away kit yet which is a bit odd), gives me hope that we won't use the current main badge on everything. This Newcastle badge is from the mid 80 to late 80's.

Have they changed theie badge ? That monstrosity looks horrific.  Makes ours look like a masterpiece 🤢

That’s an old badge from when Kevin Keegan played for them.

Their old badge looks like something they'd have on the shirts if they'd ever made Carry On Scoring. NUFC would stand for Nookie Until Five?! Cor!!!! Something like that, anyway. I don't write bawdy 70s sex comedies. Not anymore.

Jack Douglas
Jim Dale - Peter Butterworth - Sid James - Terry Scott
Frankie Howerd - Kenneth Williams - Charles Hawtrey
Harry Corbett - Bernard Bresslaw - Kenneth Connor

That's your Carry On Scoring team there, with Barbara Windsor playing a tea lady who comes on as an 80th minute sub and scoring the winning goal ("Some people think I can't play football, but I'm a great striker even though I've got my knockers." "I'm best when there's two up front", etc etc)

Looks like it was 'inspired' by the 70s Leeds badge, but it's much worse.

Can't see us stirring that hornets nest again after the last three years.

For the main badge anyway.

But an all white 1982-style third away kit with the old badge would be a nice option for Euro games.

I would have stated the current Bolton badge on first glance. The BWEC instead of NUFSadface.
