Im ok with whoever  we get now tbh. We have done better than expected.  Even if  we get eliminated next round we did well just to qualify in top 8.

By the time we play in the CL again we will have our defence back and will be firing on all cylinders.  We have the capacity to blow most teams away I reckon, so no fear and no OTT underdog attitudes allowed.

I do think it was agreed upon that Malen couldn’t play in the champions league if he signed for Villa .
As Dortmund could face Villa so it’s a possibility they sold him with conditions and the proviso that he can’t be selected.

There is nothing stopping us from playing a team we've played before, or another English team. We will play the winner of Sporting Lisbon vs Borussia Dortmund (probably Dortmund, they're three-nil up with the home leg to come) or the winner of Club Brugge vs Atalanta in the next round.

It's an open draw from the quarter-finals onwards, should we progress, except that we can't play Lille until the final as we're paired with them by virtue of group position. We also can't play whichever victor of Sporting/Dortmund/Brugge/Atalanta we don't play in the last sixteen until the final, either.

Well. I hadn’t heard it was incorrect . I mean it could be right?
Certainly a theory that can’t just be dismissed as the facts speak for themselves that Malen isn’t in the Champions League Squad.
