Mercer turned out to be a sort in The Commonwealth though.

Now confirmed we can only add three players, so two of Garcia, Disasi, Malen, Asensio and Rashy will have to miss out.

Most likely IMO. Unless one of the other three pulls an ACL between now and the deadline. So about a 50/50 chance.

Well I'd prefer it to be Rashford to miss out. It might stop people bastardising his name.

When’s the deadline? I think it’s a cunning ploy by Emery to motivate Rashford and Asensio to get themselves fit.

Garcia and Malen my bet.

Same. Garcia is young and not first choice starter. Malen can be motivated to qualify for next season as he'll definitely be here. The loan guys have a limited window to get themselves a deal for next season, here or elsewhere.

I think it’s really harsh if we leave out one of our actual players. But obviously it’s a really difficult decision.Hopefully they knew at the time of signing, otherwise you’re going to have 2 pretty annoyed players.

Sky Sports website is still saying that Villa can register 4 of the 5 new players for Europe.

I'm lost
