I assume they'll do a 4 game home package of some description.

I think the Champions League cup scheme suggests they won't. Effectively, if you've signed up for that then you've already bought the tickets at full whack...

Under the new format, teams will play eight matches in the new league phase (former group stage). They will no longer play three opponents twice – home and away – but will instead face fixtures against eight different teams, playing half of those matches at home and half of them away.

So 4 games in the "League Phase" at home , maybe they will offer a 4 game deal / package.

They won’t, it was in the last FAB minutes.

That's a bit rubbish. The package was quite good last year and almost certainly helped to get the good crowds and atmospheres for each.

Surely there's no chance the Champions League games don't sell out though, whatever the club charges?

I was surprised they did the cup scheme for it, but then it does make sense. If very few season ticket holders have opted-in, it suggests they may need to price it temptingly.

If lots of us have signed up for it, it may make them more bold in pricing it high as the demand is there.

They'll get away with stupid pricing as enough people will pay regardless just to say they were there. I've already seen the likes of Barcelona and Juventus , Inter etc down B6 so they won't be getting my money , midweek games are difficult for me anyway so it will be the sofa the TV and money kept in my wallet.

Depends who we get I reckon. £75 for Sturm Graz and a Lille rematch might be a tough sell, especially if they're third and fourth matches and the novelty has worn off a bit.

I agree with CDBF, who we we draw will definitely be a factor.

We are guaranteed a Pot 1 team at home, the least attractive we could get is Leipzig or C115y or LiVARpool.

Don't believe we can draw other English teams.
