Our win last night meant we flew up the UEFA rankings to a mighty 59th place.

Might have been mentioned already but this game is live on Virgin Media 2 in Ireland .

With Brian Kerr and Dicky Dunne critiquing the Villa, heaven save us...

Liked how they had us top of the CL table before the game (and Arsenal in 30th) with Damian Delaney tipping us for top 8.

If we can beat Bologna and Celtic, we're probably into the Knockout Round. 9 points should be enough.

I'm sure this has been answered elsewhere, but is Illing-Jnr able to play against us? Or is it like the Premier league and you can't play against your parent club?

I think he can but they may have agreement in place to avoid such a thing between the clubs.

He can play, but he'll be fined two weeks wages if he celebrates after scoring against us.

Yep, Coutinho was playing against Barca when on loan from them. So it would depend on the loan agreement.

What have Salzburg got to do with it?

Iling Junior will be able to play against us. It's quite common on the continent for loan players to play against their parent club. And I think it's the right way to do it. I'm not a fan of the Premier League rule

They're another Red Bull team, I assume he's mixed them up with Leipzig, who play away to Atlético Madrid tomorrow.

It would be quite a surprise if they did look any good really - their manager was the reason they did so well last season, they've lost him, their best striker and defender have both been sold and their best midfielder and captain is out injured for the rest of the year.
