Twat Zaniolo. Get him off, shit again.

Eh? He's been good apart from that.

Yeah been very good but that's Sunday league stuff. Carlos and Duran is giving Dias a fair old battle. Rogers and Diaby nice touches at times.

We have battled well considering everything. Look dangerous when we break and scored a cracking goal. Terrible defending for both goals. Worried about Luiz, fortunate not to get a second yellow before half time and Grealish will ensure he gets one.

Yes they fuck about with the ball for eons, but the most incisive move of the half was for our goal.

The most classic villa thing you could imagine that was. Played really well considering who's out there. The players will be fuming with Zaniolo

I didn't think Zaniolo has been that bad today. Weak in the wall, of course, but tidy otherwise. Seen more of him that Diaby or Rodgers for instance.

He's struggled defensively all half.  Surprised they haven't targeted him more.  What a poor goal to concede after we'd had an OKish half really.

Being in the wall is literally the only skill I could offer. Stand there and let it hit you ....no goal. He should be getting pelters in the dressing room the lily.

Zaniolo was very poor in the wall, Konsa wasn't great, Luiz is reckless giving free kicks away, it was not good all round.

Yeah, proper daft from all three of them really.

Luiz should not be giving away that free kick where he did, shit yellow as well. Zaniola has been doing reasonably well apart from avoiding the free kick.

Zaniolo's given the ball away loads, and just falls over when crowded out. Rubbish.

Poor second goal to give away but we are far from out of this at the moment.

I reckon if we were a couple up with 10 mins left, their bench could come on and win it.

That line up has played better than it has any right to in all fairness. Was frustrating City and looking a threat in transition.

To concede a goal like that is so fucking triggering

Yes, that’s the sort of lineup that has struggled against some crap in Europe.

We were in it up until Luiz and Zaniolo gave them a gift of a goal. They look vulnerable to the counter, but we really needed to get to HT on level terms. We'll be lucky to get a point now.

Doug probably needs to be replaced, but we can't do without his physicality. Loving Morgan right now and Jhon's goal was a great team effort. We're still in this. UTV

Mate, you've just got rage covering your eyes. He's been fine. Better than Diaby for instance.

Luckily didn’t get sent off, I wonder if Unai will drag him off
