I've said before, maybe we're open to him going as we have concerns over his long term fitness. It would be a shame as a fit JJ could be a massive asset, but this injury could be a major issue.

It would feel very odd, from all sides.

If he didn't already play for us I wouldn't want us to sign him until there was evidence he wasn't broken.

And as he does already play for us, I have no interest in such a good player going from us to Spurs.

I don't see why there would really be a reason for him to want to go to Spurs.

And the last thing I want is for it to involve adding Lo Celso to a central midfield that is already starting to feel very overcrowded.

Hopefully Ramsey can recover his full fitness , he didn't look right last season , let's hope this injury in his foot hasn't had a major long term impact.

According to a Spurs friend, Ramsey is doing the rounds on Spurs social media and has been for a while.  They seem to think his incoming transfer is happening.  Not saying it will, but is what I'm told.

That is because they are deluded cockney wankers...

Don't tease Eze on here. Imagine Eze in our side and it all clicking. Be brilliant.

With Felix, I don’t watch much European league football anymore but other than that eye watering fee that Athletico paid for him as he shown consistent form of a top player anywhere or are clubs still chasing the notion that they can be the ones to unlock the 100m talent?

Interested in views of thosr that have seen a decent amount of him? Barely put his head above the parapet at Chelsea

He's never struck me as anything other than a perfectly reasonable footballer with a high reputation, that at the age of 24, he has never met.

Things might be different under Emery, but I wouldn't want to gamble €60M to find out.

Feels a bit Zaniolo to me...

Edit- Ger Regan beat me to it.

A couple of small counter-arguments, his stock is still high enough and he is still young enough that a lot of the £50m or so would probably be recoupable unless he really bombs. And he didn't bomb at Chelsea, he just didn't do well enough to make them want to spend the £100m that Atletico wanted back then. So there's nothing to suggest that he wouldn't give us £50m of footballing value.

Also, there's the Robinho factor - in a footballing sense, he was pretty dreadful at Man City. However, he was worth every penny because signing him was the door that meant the likes of Aguero, Silva, Toure, Tevez et al saw them as a viable place to go. And for all our good players, we probably don't have that yet, and he definitely would be that.

Not saying that I think we should sign him, just that there is possibly a logic beyond just where and how he fits in the team.

Let’s be absolutely honest ….he was crap for Chelsea and also didn’t set the world alight at Barca….not with a barge pole….he’s a stalking horse for better

Of all the comings and goings, if we lost Ramsey I'd be genuinely fucking gutted.

Me too.

But I also think the club feel the same, so if they decided it made sense, they'd have to be doing so with more info than we have.

His broken foot thing and the recovery failing, for a start. We can't just ignore than. That's clearly a serious problem.

Yeah, I'm also fully trusting of us weighing everything up and acting accordingly, but I just think he's an ultra-modern footballer, he gives us something nobody else in the squad does.

And I think he's going to turn out to be better than that big bollocks Bluenose bellend.

I could live with it if we got silly money, and he didn't go to some cúnts. Nobody is going to pay over the odds for a player that's been out for a year, though, and Tottenham always take the piss and are, quite obviously, massive cúnts. Absolutely no incentive for helping literally our closest rivals (based on last two seasons).

I think if we did let him go it would also suggest we think Rogers can do a good job in his place. Which, it seems, he can. But when you get younger players making a name for themselves it should be a cause for celebration, not a way of of fixing the balance sheet.

If Kadan Young comes off the bench and bags a hat-trick next season I want to enjoy it, not just think "oh, that'll be Watkins off, then".

Tl;dr: Tottenham can fuck off.

I’d only swap him for Williams.

We're not selling JJ to Tottenham. Why would we weaken ourselves and strengthen a rival? Why would he want to leave? Spurs have always loved ITK bollocks. Like that time they signed Ashley Young every summer.

Get fucked you cockney twats.

Unai always speaks highly of JJ, I just can't imagine him sanctioning a sale. Like Lee, it would be the one departure that I'd be devo'd by.
