Maatsen makes a huge amount of sense for any ambitious club in need of a young left back. Good experience etc. Our left backs are both the wrong side of 30 and reasonably injury prone. Selling one on this summer and getting a younger model is a good strategy.

Dortmund want to sign him but Chelsea are asking £35m which is putting them off. They are reported to be willing to offer £20m-£25m. Maatsen has just joined up with the Dutch squad in Germany, his father had to drive him there as they were holidaying in Greece.

There's a mean pizza with pineapple that maestro Sorbillo in Naples has made. The key is no tomato, that sugars and acids clash is cursed as all hell. Smoked cheese and strong prosciutto with mozarella and roasted pineapple is very nice indeed, same idea as ham and melon.

I sometimes like pineapple on pizza and I do similar but I use nduja as the meat because I like the sweet and spicy combo.

I've always liked pineapple on pizza but I've always had it with pepperoni. The salty and sweet combo is sublime.
