Considering we allegedly have so many thousands on the waiting list, not that many seem bothered to actually come to a match. The last 2 home matches my brother has not been able to attend so, has given ticket back to Villa to sell. Surprise, surprise, no takers. Would love to know why we seem to be the only club that no longer give out our attendances.
Another whinge, can anyone else get onto the Villa match day Wi-Fi? I certainly can’t, it’s not fit for purpose.

There’s WiFi in the ground? Never got it…in fact don’t even take phone in nowadays as never got any phone signal of any description

Zero chance if your on 02 like me
But if your with EE you have more of a go

Up until this season I used to be able to get on it but, alas, no longer. Think the club could do so much more with many things on match days but, seems that unless they can extract more money from us, we can go and whistle for all they care.

Wifi access points have limits to the amount of connections. Looking at between 128 and 1024 per AP depending on the ages of the boxes. I do wonder where they install them as well. Stadium roofs would be good for the ones at the very top at the stand but 20 metres maximum so the ones lower down will struggle. And if on the concourses lower down, the concrete stands might cause issues. Then anyone lucky to get on will be sharing the internet with the other few thousand lucky ones so speeds might be a problem. It is the same reasons the direct internet and even calling facilities of mobile phones might have issues due to the amount connecting to the limited aerials around those areas.

EE works pretty well this season. There were plenty of people reporting the Fulham winner yesterday!

I’m in the Upper Trinity and the WiFi works fine in my seat but is nonexistent in the concourse.

I think we have a partnership with them so they might have installed some better links into the ground for their own phone system.

Isn't it nice not to look at your phone for a couple of hours and immerse yourself in the game?

It’s OK but sometimes it’s good to keep up with other scores.
Also - when I am on out of hours duty for work, I could go to the game and still pick up a call, but now I have to miss the game completely because my phone wouldn’t ring!
We’ve also had issues trying to meet up after the game with friends or family in different stands when we had a misunderstanding over a meeting place.

I wonder if there is some negative psychology at play at the moment while defending corners. I must admit I felt Man Utd were going to score when they did and ever since I’ve felt we are vulnerable on every corner.

We don't have many players that are strong in the air. That includes both centre backs yesterday. Look at our full backs, both CMs, no height in the team really. Seemed like it was Ramsey who was asleep for that second ball yesterday and let the goalscorer run off the back of him.

Luton will be trying similar tactics so we do need to organise ourselves better for those second balls as I don't see us winning many headers.

It said 42,789 on Sky yesterday, which if correct was the biggest crowd of the season. From personal experience, I know that that three people numbered about 37,000 on the waiting list were there. And my mobile data worked fine in the ground, but went off as soon as I joined the queue for the train at Witton.

It “looked” full yesterday and now I’ve said that I sound a bit unhinged.

I think people might be mixing the terms wi-fi and mobile data.
