I still think Mings is a way off yet. There's never been any footage of him actually kicking a ball since his injury has there?

I know it is only Walsall etc etc but i do get the feeling that Rogers could be a stand in striker if ever the indestructible Watkins is out at any point.

There's talk about us wanting someone who could play alongside Watkins or instead of him and I think we've already got him.

I think the only thing holding Rogers back from a position up front is a lack of pace. Like Grealish he’s no slouch when he gets going, but I’d prefer to see him central or left midfield, taking players on from there.

Anyone know why Ramsey wasn’t in the squad?
Levy told us that we were not allowed to play him, till he’s decided his future.

Likewise should we be concerned Ty and Emi were not in the squad either?  I would have thought if fit, all 3 should be getting playing time to get back up to match fitness

I wonder how much time off the Euros contingent get, particularly Ollie and Ezri. Until the beginning of August? They deserve a full month.

Actually, lads, the way our squad is being strengthened, see ya when the kids go back to school in September. They've earnt it.

I was thinking McGinn and Tielemans may be back on Monday if Onana is supposed to be back and doing his medical this weekend.

That would be four weeks off for McGinn and three weeks for Tielemans and Onana.
