We've done Prague. Somewhere new would be good.

Czech is better

Hmmm, tricky one.

I'd say Budapest over Prague.

Need to avoid Budapest's honeytrap bars though.

As my Hungarian ex girlfriend's brother found out to his peril!

Was an interesting evening to say the least 😊

I loved living there, though. Budapest I mean, not the honey bars!

After Villa, 3 of the next 5 favourites to win the competition are Frankfurt, Betis and Ajax so we can get one of those in the Round of 16. Others are Fiorentina and Fenerbahce.
Frankfurt is an ok'ish place , very business orientated though

It’s a soulless concrete dump.

It had a lot of reconstruction after WW2 but hardly a dump.

Didn't realise Betis had such a big stadium, 60k plus, but would rather avoid them at this stage I think

As we are seeded, we will be away in the 1st leg of the last 16

Doesn't leave much time to make travel arrangements

Particularly as it will take Villa and the host club an inordinate amount of time to get the allocation and arrangements sorted meaning we become the victims of dynamic travel pricing for air travel.

In order to offset a bit of this I’ve done a spreadsheet for all 16 R16 possibles and planned some cheap travel routes to get some cheap deals as soon as the draw is done on the 23rd. Suffice it to say it’s a bit complicated and I’m just praying we get a team with a decent away allocation.
Jeez AV!
Respect!!!

Is there any reason they can't do the draw before the playoff ties are played? I know teams from the same country can't play each other, but that can be avoided in an early draw easily enough.
