Tielemans needs a break too.
Ramsey and Moreno need minutes for fitness
Diaby & Zaniolo minutes to find form
Chambers and Lenglet can play CB
Luiz El capitano

Why does Tielemans need a break? He barely played half the match against Arsenal, and also only did 45 minutes against Spurs.

Any news on Tim Iroegbunam? I'd have thought he was exactly the type of player Emery would want to bring through. If he's finally recovered from his pre-season back injury, I'd hope we could give him at least 45 minutes. I know Dougie misses the Brentford game but he's another that would probably appreciate a bit of a rest.

He does Mark but we need to get the job done. He’ll have over a week to do so for the Sheff Utd game which is rest enough. When I say rest I mean massaging his leg muscles on a daily basis, some hydrotherapy and general pampering.

Tielemans will likely be needed to start v Brentford on Sunday, and as he was struggling more than a bit in the Arsenal game, I also think that this Mostar game is one he needs to sit out.

Good shout - I'd like to see Tim given a few chances too (better than Carney whoeverhewas?) But given length of time he's been out, likely have to build up match fitness with a few appearances 15-20 mins or so, not an immediate 45+.

I'm not sure Tim is registered if the list I saw the other day is correct. Same as Kellyman

Olsen (if fit)
Cash Chambers Lenglet Digne
Zaniolo Dendoncker Luiz (c) Ramsey
Diaby Duran

Should be enough to get a point with the starters from this week on the bench in case of emergency. Luiz and Digne may as well play as they have Sunday off

Chambers is a big call! Solid team though.

Chambers is selected on the basis that Konsa and Carlos must both be knackered and that it's a really low risk game.

Maybe they'll split the game between Carlos and Konsa though

Neither are according to this. Not sure why as there is a whole raft of players here with less first team squad experience than those two...

For the B squad, they have to be a certain age and have been in our academy for I think 3 years, otherwise they have to be registered in the A Squad. Neither Kellyman, Wilson, or Tim qualify on the length of time at the academy unfortunately.

Maybe impact selection?
Diaby is only player with 2 bookings and is at risk of suspension for next round if he was booked.
I detailed facts in discipline watch thread but thought important and relevant to share here if that's ok too.

That's great! You might as well put it in the Diaby thread too, if you haven't already done so.

I don't want to overdo it, but after the post on the Disciplinary Thread, I was torn between putting it here or my usual basis of the foucs on player specific thread. Those things are dilemmas for me.

I thought these were the two most appropriate owing to pre-match selection discussion and always having precise information on Conference Card regulations on the Discipline and Suspension monitor thread.
Aside from that, I'm learning not to repeat myself too much across threads and hope I've covered everything for everyone so they know about Diaby.
So will just keep it to these two.
