A whoosh is a whoosh my friend, and I've been whooshed.
It'd be, in a way, like that Xmas (1989-90?) where we beat Man United at home and then Arsenal. What a fucking Xmas that was.I’d been living down south for a while and those two games were my first for some time. Both great wins and then beat Chelsea away on the New Year’s Day I think. This does feel a lot like that season to me, let’s hope it continues tomorrow.
Quote from: Villa Lew on December 08, 2023, 12:42:13 PMArteta was full of praise for us in his press conference, praising Unai, the coaching staff and players, also said VP was one his favourite grounds and great atmosphere to play football.Having spoken to quite a few mates this week who saw the Man City game (it seems Amazon matches get seen by WAY more neutrals than Sky ones), I fear we're so well-liked at the moment we're in danger of becoming everyone's *shudder* "second favourite team"...

Game after these was a 3-0 away win at Chelsea on New Years Day I think.
Wimbledon was straight after we’d beaten Spurs comprehensively at White Hart Lane to go clear at the top, wasn’t it?
