Weak punishment in my opinion but no surprise.
Have Legia taken any responsibility for this yet or criticised the people involved? At the time they appeared to blame everyone else and I’ve not seen anything yet to say they’ve changed their mind. Let’s face it, this is the 4th time over the last few years they’ve been involved in similar incidents.
I haven't spoken to one Legia fan either in person or online who has taken responsibility or accountability for any of the actions of either their club, or their fans.
It is entirely Villas fault apparently for antagonising them with the ticket allocation reduction because they are an "emotional fanbase"...
Throwing them out of Europe for one season would have been too good for them.
The punishment they were given, while it vindicates Villa for everything we did before & on the night, does nothing to deter them from acting like animals, as the whole point of them kicking off both at Villa Park & at Alkmaar, was due to them not having enough tickets in their eyes...
