Squad improvement/ Building.
When you regularly have a bench when you bring someone on as good or better than the player coming off then you compete at top end business end . We are hopefully getting closer to this

Ever since January Unai Emery has wanted a statement signing that speical someone who scores goals and makes that difference up front.
I think it's more than Diaby or Doku.
The patience hopefully will pay off.
PSG have just announced Mbappe is for sale!

I mean…I wouldn’t say no…right?

He is another tedious ******, I honestly could not give a flying fuck who he plays for.
The only reason he wouldn't join our revolution is the animosity between him and Martinez. Emi insulted him with a doll he had of him theres a lot from the fall out fron the greatest World Cup final ever seen.

Im sorry footy, i do try and hold off, but this is really a load of old bollix

Do people really think we’re going to sign Diaby, Doku and a top notch centre forward? That feels like a lot to me!!

I think Diaby and we're sorted upfront as he can slot in if Ollie is out for any reason and Cam can be that last half hour off the bench type. Fully expect Duran to go out on loan in next two weeks.

We're in nice position of Doku being a development signing if we peruse interest in him as unlike many other summers he won't be seen as our attacking saviour so can be eased in through the Europa and league cup.

I really like how we're building this summer, usually we sign endless squad fillers and then panic or take too long to secure players who would actually improve the first team and then choose wrong options but the business so far has been a breath of fresh air.

August is all about filling in the gaps so a decent back up keeper and another FB is what I'm expecting.

Left back is the only area of concern for me if Digne picks up a knock in pre season (and based on his time so far he's not the most durable of players). No idea who we play at LB with Moreno missing start of season if that happens as just sticking CBs there won't work for every game.

Looks like Konsa will cover for Cash on the other side.

I struggle to think of any player worldwide with a worse attitude than Aubameyang, too.

Mbappe. Look how he's giving PSG the runaround, and that's his hometown club.

Barca didn't want rid of him did they? Don't think it was an attitude thing at Chelsea either.

Arsenal fair enough.

Barcelona got rid of him after 6 months. Chelsea let him leave for nowt after 1 season where he hardly played and wasn't even included in the CL knockout squad. He's on his 4th club since the start of 2022, including Arsenal.

He also apologised for his behaviour at Dortmund after he left because he forced the move by missing sessions and meetings. I'm confident he is a bell.

I hope for his sake that he can get his career back on track.

Ben Mee should be sued for his career altering assault.

Looking at Doku showreel he is predominantly another left footed wide player?
Surely we have Diaby and Bailey for that role?

Does look like a little powerhouse though

Yeah, wish the bloke well and it would be interesting to see how he does if he goes there.

Doku can use both feet and plays both wide positions.
Potential to be one of the best in the world.

Then let's go get him.

Any id3as about the Diaby timeliness.

Is he due a medical?
Will he fly to UK to sign?
Will he fly to US?
Will he get a run out in some of the US games.

Always nervous until they sign
