I don’t know if anyone has posted the MOTD analysis but that is a good synopsis. It was a poor decision and (shock) with the refs marking their own homework they’ve found that there is nothing to see here. It’s absolute nonsense and the fact that they’ve charged him further on his reaction to the bad decision is them doubling down on the nonsense. It’s pathetic

Looks like Cunha has got a 2-match ban - he elbowed a fella in the head FFS - that has to be 3 surely?
Yeah but no water bottles were harmed in that incident so it's just 2 games .

What a bunch of arseholes the FA are! Not only should Duran have not got a 3 game ban for a ridiculous decision  but the tossers have to go further with this charge for booting a water bottle. That type of thing happens in many dugouts when for example a player gets substituted and kicks out in frustration and doesn't get charged! This has to be challenged and the club can point to many such incidents without charges being implemented.

Although reviewing it, Duran turned and kicked it onto the pitch and could be construed as aiming at the linesman. With the power of his shots, if it had connected....... (it might also have been his refusal to go down the tunnel when asked by both the lino and the 4th official).

Ffs, kicking a bottle is hardly worth an extra suspension.

Well as we had the audacity to appeal, they will throw everything at us, just like they have Citeh sic.

If VAR would have got involved and not the Ref who was in a different hemisphere when he blew, he wouldn’t have been on the sideline booting the bottle.

VAR did get involved. The trouble is Duran's foot did land on the player so then it becomes a subjective decision on "was it meant". There was definitely not enough in it for VAR to override the refs decision on a clear and present error though unfortunately.

Just watched motd and if you want a definition of violent and dangerous play just watch the Bournemouth two-footer which got a yellow and which VAR didn't upgrade to a red - compare it to Duran's 'violent conduct' - beggars belief.

One of our extremely wealthy owners ,should hire a legal eagle  to challenge this latest charge and expose their incompetence and inconsistencies.

I think the player would be represented by someone with some legal experience during the hearing, however I hope we don't try to Citeh it like you suggested. That would be embarrassing.
